Want to co-promote an event, provide food or drinks, contribute equipment or services, sponsor something specific, or pitch an idea we haven’t thought of yet?
We’re open to partnerships that make sense for Strawberry Sessions, the artists, and the community.
Let us know what are thinking.
Strawberry Sessions is about bringing songwriters off the road and onto a stage that feels a little more like home.
A room where folks come to listen. Where you can hear the story behind a song, catch the quiet parts, and experience the music the way the artist actually intended it to be performed.
There are a lot of great musicians traveling through Oregon who might never have a reason to stop in Prairie City. We want to give them one, and give our community a chance to hear artists we might otherwise have to drive a few hours to see.
Every Session is filmed and recorded live, but the cameras aren't the point. They're just there to capture what happens when you put a talented songwriter in front of a room full of people who actually came for the music.
No talking over the band or competing with TVs in the corner. Just artists, songs, stories, and a room that gives their music some space to breathe.
Come listen with us.

Elwood, a folk ‘n soul musician with a sound as timeless as the Blue Mountains he calls home, was born on the bathroom floor of his trailer house in Union, Oregon. From these humble beginnings, Elwood grew into an artist whose music is as raw and real as the life he’s lived.
Blending the heartfelt storytelling of folk with the deep, stirring grooves of soul, Elwood creates Folk ‘n’ Soul. “music for the folks, from the soul.”
His songs speak to both the weary and the hopeful, offering a soundtrack to life’s ups and downs. Each performance is an intimate experience, as Elwood’s voice and lyrics invite you into his world—a place of grit, resilience, and quiet beauty.
Coming from Bend, Mason James is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter with more than 15 years of live-performance experience and deep roots in Central Oregon’s music community. His music moves comfortably between folk, indie, and pop, whether he’s playing original material, putting his own spin on a familiar song, or collaborating with other musicians. Alongside his solo work, Mason performs with Bend indie-pop group Double Jump and has become a familiar face in the local scene as a performer, open-mic host, and supporter of other artists. Strawberry Sessions brings him across the mountains for an afternoon in a room built for listening.

Based right here in Prairie City, Lucas Treptow is an independent Americana and folk artist whose live show packs a surprising amount into one person. With vocals, guitar, kick drum, tambourine, and harmonica all working together, his sets move between original songs, stories from the road, quieter folk moments, and plenty of energy when the room calls for it. After hundreds of shows across the West and Midwest, Lucas brings that touring experience home to Strawberry Sessions as both a performer and the producer behind the series.
